Wine Steward - Part-Time Store 62

As a Wine Steward with The Fresh Market you will be assisting in educating customers on wine, beer, and food pairings while demonstrating excellent customer service with a strong passion and interest in Beer and Wine. Our Wine Steward will communicate and share knowledge with enthusiasm to customers while exhibiting salesmanship fundamentals. As a Wine Steward you will be responsible for organizing selling events as well as the implementation and execution of merchandising strategies each week to help execute the stores merchandising plan and corporate marketing plan to exceed sales and profit targets. The Fresh Market Wine Steward will be responsible for managing Wine and Beer inventory levels and replenish merchandise for the department. The Wine Steward will also be responsible for planning and coordinate merchandising planners and ads for the Beer and Wine department. The Fresh Market Wine Steward will be responsible for making our unique experience come alive in the atmosphere that fosters genuine camaraderie and a heartfelt sense of belonging.

The Fresh Market requires excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated excellent customer service and people skills are required for all positions within The Fresh Market. Candidates should have a basic knowledge of the Beer and Wine Categories such as varietals, countries, and regions. Candidates should be highly motivated to sell and educate The Fresh Market customers on Beer and Wine. Must be 21 years of age or older. This is a part time position. Must be available to work Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday late in the day.
